A plancha grill features a round cooking surface that naturally forms three temperature zones. Thanks to the central fire source and outward heat flow, you can easily manage different cooking stages on one surface.
Heat Zone Breakdown
- Inner Searing Zone (red/orange, approx. 300–350 °C): The hottest area near the center opening, ideal for creating a perfect sear on meat, burgers, or vegetables.
- Intermediate Cooking Zone (yellow, approx. 250–300 °C): A balanced heat zone suited for fish, sausages, and other foods that benefit from steady, controlled cooking.
- Outer Warming Zone (green, approx. 150–200 °C): A cooler edge area perfect for keeping food warm or gently finishing dishes.
For best results, move ingredients through the zones: begin with high heat in the center, continue cooking in the middle, and keep finished items warm at the edge. Temperatures can vary depending on conditions, so measuring with an infrared thermometer is advisable.
